West Nile Vaccine and Your Horses, Is It Safe?
West Nile Nosodes Could Be What You Are Looking For
West Nile is a relatively new virus on the equine scene. Unfortunately it opened up a
huge vacuum for big Pharma to swoop down and create- rather quickly - a vaccine. This vaccine did not
go through the normal rigors of vaccine testing-your horses became the guinea pigs. The results have
been devastating for many, many horses. Many of the side effects that have been noted include:
severe swelling at site of the injection-can lead to cellulitis or permanent scarring/muscle
contractions.
laminitis-acute, chronic, or recurring
blindness-unilateral or bilateral
colic-can be recurring
diarrhea
swelling of front or rear legs-often leading to laminitis
encephalitis
anaphylaxis (death)
Because of the severity and numbers or serious reactions to this 'conditional' vaccine, several veterinarians have
made nosodes that can be used to both prevent and treat the disease. I have most of my farms on a
regularly monthly oral nosode year round. There are NO side effects and the immunity is quite good. (For
explanation on nosodes read my own article on vaccines.
We do have west nile nosodes available for anyone that wishes to purchase them. They were
initially developed by veterinarians in Florida who were disgusted with the allopathic vaccine and therapies.
